ACTA's artistic director
Laurent Dupont is a director and Comedian - trained in the arts of dancing and singing. In 1980 he co-founded TAM teatromusica, an experimental musical theater company in Italy with visual artist Pierangela Allegro and musician / videographer Michel Sambin. He then engaged in sound and visual compositions that actively participate in early childhood-inspired artistic research that has been the subject of co-productions in Germany, Australia, Finland and France. The making of his shows is often preceded by artistic residencies around stakes posed by scenic writings shared with artists and diversified audiences. They are articulated through European / international projects or in partnership with places of creation or Cities. They are accompanied by training. An artistic collaboration initiated in 2008 with Agnès Desfosses and the Compagnie Acta has enabled the production of Moi Seul (2009) and En Corps (2012) for all audiences from 4 years old. In 2013, he created En Corps (E), which mirrors early childhood and adolescence for the first creation which was intended these age groups (Dance, live music and video).
