As part of the continuation of its 2024 community project, ACTA is pursuing its work around the theme of trees and is offering organizations in the city of Villiers-le-Bel an artistic and sensory journey centered on plant life and its metamorphosis, in connection with the company’s upcoming creation, « De l’Hêtre à l’Être » by Laurent Dupont, scheduled for autumn 2025.

The project unfolds in two phases:

January to June: CE1 (2nd grade) students from Jean Jaurès and Ferdinand Buisson schools will take part in digital design workshops led by Jaime Jimenez and dance workshops led by Kostia Cerda and Maxime Renaud. At the end of this program, the participating classes will attend a work-in-progress showing of « De l’Hêtre à l’Être » at ACTA’s venue and have a chance to engage in discussion with the artistic team.

September to November – For activity centers and libraries: In collaboration with the Boris Vian socio-cultural center, the Louis Jouvet activity center, and the Erik Orsenna and Aimé Césaire libraries, two groups of children aged 7 to 9 will explore their natural surroundings and rediscover their territory from an artistic perspective. This will include dance and digital design workshops, literary workshops focused on the transformation of living beings and nature, and a forest walk with the association La Case. Their experience will also be enriched by attending a second work-in-progress showing.

Both programs will take place ahead of the performances of « De l’Hêtre à l’Être », scheduled for November 2025 at Espace Marcel Pagnol (95). They aim to raise participants’ awareness of the themes addressed in the show, while highlighting the unique aspects of their territory and contributing to the artistic team’s creative process.
