Be Kind is an intimate theatrical experience for babies aged 6 to 18 months and their adults. In this experience of sound, colour and movement, two circus artists take the whole audience on a sensory journey. The little ones discover acrobatics and juggling up close. The pop-up set slowly comes to life, and there’s always something vibrating, appearing, cracking, rolling or floating.
During the performance, a touching dialogue develops between the artists and their young audience. After the show, the artists invite the babies to explore and play in the set. Be Kind is a creation by Emilie Weisse, and to better understand babies she has collaborated with the Baby & Child Research Center in Nijmegen. To extend the experience, a pop-up book based on the show has been developed and is available after each performance.
