This project was born out of a direct request from the town of Goussainville, which is very representative of the general demand made by the early childhood services and organisations in the Val d’Oise district.
Between January and May 2022, three workshops took place for children, staff and parents of the partner early childhood centres, with the artists Candice Hayat and Eleonora Ribis; and training sessions to raise awareness of the artistic awakening of toddlers for the centres’ staff with Catherine Juliet-Delpy, Eleonora Ribis, Pascal Bely, and as part of the European Forum of the PREMIÈRES RENCONTRES festival.

“Some children who were reluctant at first quickly became involved. On the whole, they appreciated these proposals: there was no inhibition on the part of the children with regard to these materials. In particular, some children who were often withdrawn in the group had a profound change of attitude, revealing themselves with previously underestimated exploratory qualities and abilities.”
